Frederick has trusted Circular Community Care for their adult primary care services for over 20 years. We specialize in preventive health, chronic disease management, and acute care.
Adult family medicine focuses on healthcare concerns for patients over 18. Practitioners in this field are widely trained to cover a broad range of adult healthcare needs. Some of these needs may include flu shots and vaccinations, diagnosis and treatment of illness, managing chronic illness, women’s health concerns, and men’s health concerns.
Well Woman Exams
Preventative well woman exams are designed to help women stay healthy at all stages of their lives. These exams focus on a woman’s physical and mental health, tips for maintaining optimal health, and uncovering and diagnosing previously unknown health concerns.
Circular Community Care’s comprehensive well woman exam includes a breast exam, screening tests including pap smears, a complete physical, and renewing or prescribing medications, among other things. The goal of our well woman exam is the early diagnosis and treatment of reproductive and breast cancers and maintaining the overall health of women in the Frederick community.

Pap Smears
A Pap smear, or Pap test, is an important screening test for cervical cancer. Cervical cancer can be a deadly disease, but it can be cured if diagnosed early. Screening should begin at age 21 or when a woman becomes sexually active and take place routinely every three years.
